Quality Control for PVD Vacuum Coating Machine
Full-Process Quality Management

Material Control & Precision Assembly
CGVAC builds reliable vacuum coating systems through rigorous material selection and precision assembly standards, ensuring that every unit operates at the highest standards.
• Strict supplier and material inspection
• CNC machining of key components
• Vacuum chamber leak detection
• In-house development of critical parts
• Engineer-standardized assembly and calibration
High-quality materials + precision assembly = stable, repeatable coating performance.
Performance Verification & Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Every CGVAC PVD vacuum coating machine must pass a complete performance verification process before shipment. Our goal is to ensure that the PVD coating machine can begin stable production immediately after arriving at the customer’s factory.
• Vacuum system performance tests: pump-down speed, ultimate vacuum level, leak detection
• Heating & thermal stability tests
• Plasma stability testing under long-duration operation
• Multiple trial coating tests to verify adhesion, hardness, uniformity, and color repeatability
• 24–48-hour continuous running test (burn-in test) for real production simulation
• Final FAT inspection based on global industrial standards
Every machine is delivered only after passing all mechanical, electrical, and coating-effect inspections.

Digital Quality Tracking
CGVAC integrates digital tracking into our PVD coating machine testing and production processes to create a fully traceable quality record for each machine.
• Vacuum curve and pumping performance
• Plasma and power output stability
• Temperature and gas-flow control data
• Process automation & PLC operation logs
• Error history and diagnostic records
This digital approach ensures long-term stability, faster maintenance, and continuous optimization for each coating system.
EU Machinery & EMC Compliance Certification
Our PVD vacuum coating machines meet the safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2014/30/EU EMC), ensuring reliable operation in global industrial environments.
Related Standards Covered:
EN ISO 12100 (Safety of Machinery)
EN 60204-1 (Electrical Equipment of Machines)
